Museum of Pharmacy
Lesser Poland Voivodeship
Tue: 12:00 - 18:30
Wed - Sun: 10:00 - 14:30
Krakow's Pharmacy Museum is located in an amazing 15th-century building. Museum covers 5 floors and features exchibits from full-scale replica of ancient apothecary shops to wine stored in barrels from which apothecaries produced medical wines.
Top floor is occupied by exhibit of traditional herbal medicines. Also please notice an exhibit dedicated to the Tadeusz Pankiewicz, who operated a pharmacy in the Krakow Ghetto during WWII.
Although "Pharmacy Museum" sounds too boring, this place is quite remarkable and worth of visiting.
