Museum of Water
The Water Museum is situated in a picturesque location on one of the hills in the Central part of Kyiv. Museum facilities (water towers and tanks) were built in 1872-1876, and now restored.
Here you will be able to see how glaciers melt, birth rains and eruption of geysers. You can even try on the role of God and change the channel of the river (though only in the model), play with huge soap bubbles, in which adult man even fits.
The main exhibition is located in the former underground clean water reservoir, built in 1909.
There are 18 museums water in Europe.
The tower, which is the entrance to the Water Museum, constructed in 1876 and reconstructed in 2003 on the original drawings with the restoration of the fire tower. The adjacent tower, demolished in 1939-40, was also restored according to the drawings.
Interestingly the material submitted. Moreover, both for children and for adults. I recommend to visit this place!
Cool place to hike with children. From there you can go once, the second is not interesting.
Museum super! The tour is cool, but it was not always clearly audible(
I liked that there is not just entertain people, but also tell and show how important it is to respect the water and other natural resources.
Очень понравилось, что там не просто развлекают людей, но и рассказывают и показывают, как важно бережно относиться к воде и другим природным ресурсам.
Not the best museum and not the cleanest place of Kiev.
My vrezannym from a nearby detstva :" it Was very cool, pam' remember the tremendous bowl , a bunch of bubbles and fun guide ." It was fun.
Awful. The guide couldn't hear you over the noise inside the Museum and from other groups. On a tour given very little time, nothing to read, and it can not be considered, although the idea of the Museum is very good and informative
Very informative and detailed excursion, really liked it. A must see to every visitor/tourist who ever come to Kyiv
Hard to describe the Museum. Kind of an interesting tour about everything to do with water, but do not say that much. Probably Yes, won't come back
One of the best museums of Kiev . But there are some negative reviews. It's weird. I've been there 4 times already . I REALLY like this place. Even surprising is that the ego, the Danes built. And I employees are not punished but rather give a positive response. Particularly Jolly Deputy Director . Who talked about interesting moments from the history of the Museum .
Cool museum. A lot of interesting.
Pity opening hours inconvenient.
Жаль часы работы не удобные.
An interesting Museum.
Very good. Really detailed and lovely exhibits. Very good value. Took about 90min to 2 hours and much fun.
