Wall-paintings on Oktyabrskaya street
There are not so much of street art in Minsk, but if you find it - it will be great and big. These two beautiful pictures where made by Belarusian artist Cowek (on the left) and Brasilian Rogério Fernandes as a part of belarusian-brasilian collaboration street art project.
Cowek's art has obvious folklore roots, Fernandes's - Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo and giraffes. It's a thing you can look at for half an hour doing nothing but enjoying every small detail.
Actually Oktyabrskaya street is not completely walking, but drivers avoid this road for some reason. Its always quiet and calm. From many other streets it is different with red-brick factory buildings and carries the spirit of the industrial aesthetic. In all of this, almost all the companies on this street are no longer active.
