PinchukArtCentre is an international centre of contemporary art of the 21st century, an open platform for artists, art and society.
PinchukArtCentre is situated in historical architectural ensemble of Kyiv Bessarabsky quarter.
Since the opening of the art center, it became one of the favorite places of Ukrainian youth, Kyiv citizens and numerous tourists. Very convenient schedule of exhibitions and free entry provide a wonderful opportunity to explore the best creations of contemporary artists. Thanks to the PinchukArtCentre Kyiv has become a notable place for contemporary art.
In addition to large-scale projects art centre holds short term exhibitions in the context of PAC-UA, intended for demonstration only new works by Ukrainian artists.
"Resident" book store
Book store is open in the PinchukArtCentre as a permanent feature. It is located on the second floor next to the reception. The art centre visitors have an opportunity to choose from a wide variety of books on international art and culture, including history of art, as well as artists’ catalogues.
The shop offers catalogues of such famous artist of both past and present time as Michelangelo, Leonardo, Vermeer, Van Gough, Hundertwasser, Klimt, Mucha, Mondrian, Matisse, Escher, Koons, Shagal, Rotko, Pollock, Bacon, Dali, Wool, Olafur Eliasson, Ed Rucha, Bill Viola and etc.
Admirers of modern architecture can find monographs by Mayer, Zaha Hadid, Jean Nouvelle, Wright, Le Corbusier, Calatrava, Oscar Niemeyer, Richard Rodgers, Tadao Ando, Bauhaus, Piano and other.
The "Photography" section is represented by such masters as Stieglitz, Steichen, Capa, Diane Arbus, Newton, Gibson, Brassai, Bresson, Willy Ronis, Sieff, La Chapelle, David Bailey, Howard Schatz, Weston, Man Ray, Duano, Walker Evans etc, as well as collected volumes of European and American photographers.
Additionally, there is a wide range of works on contemporary art trends including graffiti, street-art, tattoo-art, manga, street-fashion and more.
